Turn on the Vikalp Omni app embed in your theme
One switch in your Shopify theme makes every Vikalp Omni block work. Here’s where it is, and what each embed option does.
Switch it on
- In Shopify, open Online Store → Themes and click Customize on your live theme.
- Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar.
- Switch on Vikalp Omni and click Save.
What the Vikalp Omni embed switches on
Omni Pass: the floating Omni Pass button and the join pop-up.
Reviews: the floating reviews tab, the review pop-up and review stars in Google search.
Wishlist: the wishlist heart (in the header next to the cart, or floating) and hearts on product cards.
Referrals: the floating refer-a-friend button.
Live chat: the floating chat button. The Omni Dock’s chat works without it.
Two more app embeds
Omni Tokens: the tokens each product earns on product cards, and members’ tokens in the header, with their look.
Review stars on cards: each product’s rating on product cards, with its look.
Both need the Vikalp Omni embed on too.
If a block shows a red note
In the theme editor only, a Vikalp Omni block explains what’s missing — usually the embed is off, or the app isn’t on your plan. Customers never see these notes.
